About Station Manager Eric Hines
I've been listening to community, college and public radio since I was in high school.
Among my radio heroes are/have been Terry Gross, Harry Shearer (Le Show), Steve Post (ex-WNYC), Randall Grass (ex-WXPN) and J. Max Gilbert (ex-WRSU). I was born in Philadelphia and studied English Lit (18th Century) and early periodicals. My favorite record at the moment is CQMD's Lalalalalala (2000). I enjoy messing with Linux, softball, baseball, books, African music, Cuban music, food from Philadelphia (mainly sandwiches), food not from Philadelphia, beer, New Orleans, molecular biology, evolution, cities and epidemiology. My favorite food is pepper pot soup. I seldom wear ties.
