Mornings on WNMC
This program features "news, music, strong coffee & chat." Mornings was created as a "thinking person's" morning radio alternative. We see it as a perfect fit to our station's core values, at least to the extent that we can uphold them at 6 a.m. Mornings on WNMC is locally focused, musically sophisticated, laid back and informative.

DJs
Friday’s standing feature is First*Light, starting around 7:15 a.m. with astronomer Michael Foerster, a 45-minute look at the “intersection of science and society." In addition to being a NASA Ambassador, Michael is also a former WNMC GM, so he is the perfect man to bridge the gap between the dynamic world of science and the world of our half-asleep listenership.
Regular participants are Station Manager Eric Hines, the uncanny Dave Gault, the vivacious Diane Miller, the serene Mike Curths and Peter Strong, a carbon-based life form.
You can also bear witness to this ongoing piece of early morning radio improvisation on Charter Channel 96.
